Hi, I am Meredith, one of the co-author of Traveling St. Pete: A Girl's Guide. I absolutely love St. Pete and exploring all of her glorious shops, restaurants, and attractions. I am excited to take a few moments to share a perfect #travelingstpete day with you!
There is something so magical about walking around Downtown St. Pete on a Saturday morning with the perfect cup of coffee.
My first stop is Kahwa where I grab a hot vanilla latte at with a piece of their oh-my-goodness-this-is-delicious-pound cake. I then head out on foot or bicycle towards the Vinoy- is she gorgeous or what? There is a reason we made her our Guide cover girl. Stunning! Once there, you can either take a scenic walk through shady Straub Park or walk right along the Bay. A few blocks past the new(ish) St. Pete Pier, you will find me starting to get giddy as I think about all of the amazing shops I am about to see at the Saturday Morning Market. The smells of the food vendors, the hustle of the other #travelingstpete shoppers, and the excitement of the small businesses all eager to meet you simultaneously energizes and relaxes me so much!
After some (ok, maybe a lot) #shopsmall shopping, I love to grab lunch at one of the awesome businesses featured in our Guide or explore a newer restaurant that might be featured on our social media (@travelingstpete) or in a future Guide (hint hint).
